Marching into Spring.

Well tomorrow is March. I can't believe it. Another one of my favorite months for several reasons...

1. My birthday.

2. Spring Break.

3. Spring fashion sets in at full force.

4. Lovely weather that calls for afternoon walks.

5. Bright hues seem to become more abundant in everyday life.

I can feel it...

The past two weeks have been full of beautiful weather. I think that's a great indication that spring is well on it's way... I can just feel it.

Cave Like.

I ran across this at Black*Eiffel. Located in Turkey,this cave hotel is probably one of the most unique places to stay I have ever seen. I have a working list of all the places I would love to visit one day... Turkey is on the list and now I might just have to specify it a little to staying at the Yunak Evleri Cappadocia Cave Hotel. Hopefully I would be able to remember which hole in the mountain was mine...

Currently Obsessed.

So right now , I'm totally obsessed with Gossip Girl. I just recently started back from season 1 and am re-watching all episodes from the beginning. I didn't really ever start watching it when it first came out, it was something I got into a little later on. There's no denying now though that I, along with most other high school and college girls, have a serious obsession with the show. Their wardrobes and their Upper Eastside lifestyles... what's not to love? Oh, and Chace Crawford and Penn Badgley are a nice little cherry on top :)

BHLDN.

Well once again, Anthropologie has done it... captured another little piece of our souls. I'm absolutely smitten about their new wedding line BHLDN that launched on Valentine's Day. The vintage inspiration behind the line is fabulous. Their use pastel and earth tones for supplemental pieces and the creativity of shoes and jewelry that take you back to a "simpler time" is magnificent. In my opinion, the whole line screams rustic, country wedding yielding photos that are to die for. Below are some of my favorite gowns, dresses, and headpieces.

If I had the choice...

If I was a kid (or any age actually) AND if this was in my house AND if I had to get down to the first floor AND if I had this choice... I would most definitely choose the slide. How fun would that be? Especially if you were running late for school :)

Currently Obsessed.

My current obsession of the moment is the boyfriend short. They're laid back and slouchy yet edgy and sexy. These shorts really have the best of both worlds- comfort and style. Perfectly paired with a denim top and wedges or with layered tanks and gladiator sandals. No questions asked, I'm in. The toughest part is choosing which ones to order... It's a LOVEly Day.

It's a LOVEly kind of day, February 14th, and you know what that means... Valentine's Day for some and Single Awareness Day for others. I will be spending my evening with one of my best friends- treating ourselves to a fabulous meal and The Bachelor. However you choose to spend it, make sure to enjoy a day filled with hearts, chocolate, flowers, everything pink... and maybe even someone special. Happy Valentine's Day (I'm not as much of a cynic as most :))

Draft-a-Date.

Football seems to be the current kick right now... and considering I've already had 3 football posts in the past week, I figured why not go ahead with one more. Tuesday night we had our annual draft-a-date party... everyone had on their best football gear and game face. Naturally, it was everyone's favorite function due to the fact we got to wear tshirts or jerseys and leggings or jeans (after all we are talking about chi o here). Needless to say, we had a great time hanging out and jamming out to the HogMountain Lugnuts and Tim Tyler. Draft-a-Date 2011- success.

So I do go to Auburn but growing up in South Florida, I have never been a total "gator hater" and naturally, along with every other girl in America, I developed a rather large crush on Tim Tebow over the years. He's gorgeous, a ridiculous athlete (my type) and has an awesome heart (we could perform the marriage ceremony over the phone as far as I'm concerned)... I just have a feeling that if we could just meet, well we would hit it off haha. Dreaming my days away...

Football Wrap Up.

Well congrats to Aaron Rodgers and the Packers for winning what was probably one of the most mediocre Super Bowl extravaganzas ever. Christina botched the National Anthem, Fergie and her Black Eyed Peas were just flat out terrible, and the commercials this year were nothing short of a let down. I'm a huge football fan, but I was not into Super Bowl XLV in any way, shape, or form. The only word that comes to mind is mediocre.. I think my friend Taylor summed it up best when she offered her thoughts on Aaron Rodgers MVP gift, "Aaron Rodgers winning a camaro is like me winning a turkey sandwich, thanks but I already have plenty of turkey in the fridge..."

Probably the worst thing about the Super Bowl last night was the fact that it represents the official end of football season... sad day. As the season wraps up, I thought I would reminisce on some of my favorite moments from this past football season. They include:
